The Little Compton Fire Department is committed to delivering the highest quality of service to the Town of Little Compton in the most effective, efficient, safest, and professional way possible. The fire department provides services in fire suppression, rescue, fire prevention, fire inspection, emergency medical services, ocean rescues and disaster mitigation to list a few.
Our greatest resource, by far, are the 11 dedicated firefighters that currently make up this great department. The firefighters are committed to protecting the Town of Little Compton 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The department has one station which houses 7 different pieces of up-to-date, well maintained fire apparatus.

West Main - Rollover MVA

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the LCFD was dispatched to the 250 area of West Main Rd. for a rollover MVA - car vs utility pole. Upon arrival crews found a single car off the road resting on the driver's side. The sole occupant was able to self-extricate with the assistance of bystanders on scene prior to fire dept arrival and reported no injuries. The utility pole was snapped into multiple pieces ...
