I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you for helping Ed Aldrich and his two birds, Casey Jones and Sasha. All three of them are loved by many, and I can't express how much your kindness and compassion has meant to Ed and the rest of us. God bless you and yours. :)

Sunday December 10, 2017

Dear Chief Petrin;
My note is sent to you to let you know that one of your own, Isaiah Manley, saved my puppy named Blue from traffic here on Hix Bridge road. Blue had jumped my 5 foot fence chasing birds. The chase was on, and , I could not capture him and he went missing. I checked the vineyard, salt marsh, and was headed to the sledding hill.
There I saw a young man had pulled his white truck aside and had Blue on a leash keeping him safe from the traffic he had rescued him from. State boundaries did not put a limit on this good young man. He rescued my puppy from getting run over on a busy road.
This act of kindness saved my family from a very sad Holiday.
Sometimes small acts of kindness mean so much.
Happy Holidays to you all who do the right thing and place yourselves in harms way to make others, including my dog, safe.
Sincerely,
Annie Cloutier
