We had the pleasure of joining Public Safety and Educators from Little Compton and Tiverton this past weekend to recognize individuals for their service and dedication to our communities. We'd like to Congratulate Corporal Caitlin Farrar for being recognized as Little Compton Police officer of the Year. Cpl. Farrar was also recognized at 2021 Little Compton Grange Officer of the Year as well as 2021 RI State Grange Police Officer of the Year. Her selfless service to our community goes above and beyond. We are fortunate to work along side many dedicated individuals.
The Fire Department and LC EMA submitted Nelson "Rusty" Cabot for recognition for his selfless service to our community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Rusty was asked to be the P.O.D. (Point of Distribution) Commander for the COVID Vaccine clinics. Without reservation Rusty agreed to take the lead for the Community and oversee the vaccine distribution process along with Chief Petrin. Rusty's time as an Officer in the Air Force made him the right person for the job. His reliability and tenacity to make our P.O.D.s flow seamlessly made our communities standout at the state level. We are thankful for the time Rusty committed to the mission of vaccinating our residents.
We'd also like to Congratulate Wilbur McMahon School Nurse Jean Dunn for her endless dedication and time committed to keeping our school safe and COVID free! It is our pleasure to work along side you!
Congratulations to the other Honorees as well. |
