On September 1, 2023, the LCFD responded to the area of Quoquonset Ln for a reported pool heater fire. Upon arrival crews found the pool heater located next to the pool house on an elevated platform. The heater was only smoking at the time of arrival. Crews secured the power and gas to the pool heater and using a pressurized water can extinguished any hot spots. Minimal exposure noted to the area surrounding the pool heater. The state fire marshal was requested to respond to the scene. Caused is still undetermined at this time.
