Around 1PM Saturday, St Patrick's Day, we received a call for smoke showing from the gables of Crowther's Restaurant. Upon arrival Tanker 1 reported smoke showing from the 2nd Floor of the restaurant. Mutual Aid was activated, as well as the Tanker Task-force. Westport, Tiverton, Portsmouth and Fall River Fire Departments responded to assist. The fire was brought under control within 30-40 minutes. The Restaurant is repairable, and no one was injured. The RI State Fire Marshals Office is investigating the fire, and its cause. Thank you to all FDs for their assistance and Thank You to the Providence Canteen for responding for Rehab!
