LCFD has been busy today with many calls for service, most of them being for downed power lines. We have additional manpower today and tonight to handle the increased call volume. Please remember to stay clear of any downed wires and to call the station (401-635-2323), for any emergencies you can dial 911. If you have lost power and are using a generator please remember to keep the generator at least 20 feet from any windows or doors and do not run a generator inside your house or garage. Please stay home and off the roads for the remainder of the storm unless it is absolutely necessary for you to go out. Stay safe and stay warm!
